GenoAmp® Real-Time PCR Tropical Fever II is a real-time molecular diagnostic assay for the detection and differentiation of the causative agents of Lyme disease, rickettsial infection, typhoid and paratyphoid from human blood samples.
The kit provides a ready-to-use system for DNA detection using real-time PCR technology and utilizes a TaqMan® hydrolysis probe-based platform. During amplification, fluorescence generated by the probes is detected and measured by the optical system of the real-time PCR instrument.
